THE Darcy family, which includes Triple M's Luke Darcy, is expanding its pub  empire.

The family has a site at Docklands' South Wharf, which is under construction, with an August opening date.

The venue will be called Melbourne Public, and will be as big as their hot spot, The Precinct, in Swan St, Richmond.

Melbourne Public is one of a number of new venues under construction at South Wharf.
